Group Maintenance Manager – Small Group of Luxury Venues Salary: £35000 Location: Manchester
We are looking for an experience
Maintenance Manager / Facilities Manager ready to take a step up into a Group Level position.
Ideally with an Electrician qualification, you must come from a Hotel background.
This is a position with 2 missions:
Be the main Maintenance Manager of the property in Manchester
Have a hands-on role in the upkeep of the property in all basic maintenance and repairs work Take control, accountability and ownership for the general day-to-day maintenance of the hotel property Ensure statutory compliance and all employees are up-to-date in their Health & Safety training Plan preventive maintenance and projects
2. Oversee the maintenance team based on the other properties across the UK.
Lead the team and uphold the standards across multiple properties. Fulfill all legal requirements of the upkeep and maintenance and H&S of the properties within group. Keep control over the Maintenance Budget Work with the Senior Executive to plan projects (refurbishments, new openings, etc.)
We are looking for an all-rounded individual that will be able to plan long term maintenance project as well as fixing immediate issues and ready to take a new step in their career.
Ideally from a Hotel or Property Management background.
Key requirement / technical skills
ONC/HNC or City and Guilds Building Services (or similar) Good working experience of building services and controls (mechanical and electrical) is desired Knowledge of BMS controls and heating and air conditioning equipment is desired Working knowledge of general equipment functioning to include: Basic plumbing, painting; carpentry, electrical, TV controls; Heating and air conditioning equipment Problem solving ability Previous experience across general trade area e.g. plumbing; carpenter, painting Previous hotel experience is necessary. Good communication skills at all level Customer service orientated Computer literate
