We are seeking a Pricing Coordinator to provide support to the business across three locations in the UK (London, Rainham and Leeds). Reporting directly into the Bid Manager this role will have responsibility for assisting the bid team in writing and pricing tenders and bids.
Our client is a workplace integrator that plans, creates and supply’s cohesive furniture, technology and service solutions.
Assist developing pricing strategy with Sales Lead and Senior Management Team
Working with the Purchasing Manager and sales team to negotiate contract pricing and discount
Develop Pricing matrix on all Bids/Tenders
Controlling and gaining margin approval in line with company delegation of authority rules
Collate and draft technical written bid question responses
Proof reading and reviewing tender documents and spreadsheets for errors and omissions
Assist Product Selection with Sales Lead, Design and Collaboration Product Specialist
Liaise with Design, Sales, Marketing and Operations team to gain develop and maintain high quality document production
Liaising with operations for set up and design/sales to ensure mock up product brochures.
Collate pricing information from submitted tenders, including unit prices and discounts
Ideal candidate will be:
Team player used to the complex nature of bid preparation and pricing
2-4 years' work experience in pricing, preferably in the consumer goods, retail or B2B industry
Ability to demonstrate commercial acumen in business issues
Excellent excel and financial modelling skills
Commercial related Industry experience
Excellent eye for detail
Effective negotiating skills
Track record of upselling services
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Experience in commercial tendering and pricing
Good presentation skills
Advanced MS Office Skills
