An exciting opportunity for a Hard biased Facilities Manager has arisen with one of our clients in Qatar. Must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering. The role is to ensure the proper operation of a high demanding world class Catering Facility in operation 24/7 hours and 365 days. You will be responsible for providing the leadership, guidance, support and direction for the engineering maintenance, HSE, cleaning and security staff. The facility is a four storey building with extremely high footfall. This is paying 32,000 - 38000 QAR per month plus 1 annual ticket to home for self & Family and schooling for up to QAR 45,000/- per annum.
Manage all activities of Catering Facility and ensure that FMM service complies with laws and regulations of local authorities and airport.
Take the overall responsibility for delivering functional goals including operational uptime, compliance, financial and people development.
Demonstrate leadership, responsiveness, sense of urgency, and creativity in finding solutions for service delivery.
Liaise with customers and operations and create and develop a relationship with the client.
Anticipate and plan for future requirements in the Facility. Act as consultant and advice the client.
Responsible for forecasting/budgeting, revenue and expenditure analysis and achievement of financial results.
Following Permit to Work system and ensuring the staff under him/her + subcontractors are following the requirements
Perform HSE inspections and lead accident and incident investigation
Collaborating with HSEQ Department to provide answer to clients complaints, inspections, audits, etc.
Responsible for developing people and training to maximize operational equipment uptime, propose new technologies and apply best practice in maintenance and cleaning methods and systems.
Covering ground floor area of nearly 30,000 m2 and provides approximately 65,000 m2 (over several floors) for food processing and storage with a capacity of 82,000 in-flight meals a day.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
10 years of Maintenance Management experience
Experience of working within a 24/7 environment
Experience in a Catering/food processing building factory
The ideal candidate must be fluent in English
