We have an exciting opportunity for a 3 month contract. This role is working as a Facilities Manager within the retail sector covering 2 Head offices across the UK and around 500 stores. This role requires someone with multi-site and retail experience. This role would suit a career interim candidate.

The Role

  • Manage multiple budget lines, totaling over £5.5m, including: Store repairs and maintenance and Store fire and security
  • Manage team members ad strategic supplier contracts
  • Ensure the delivery of reactive maintenance services for both store and SSC locations meets both operational and customer/end user needs.
  • Ensuring that planned maintenance programs are undertaken within the agreed timeframes
  • Manage the departmental budgets and capital expenditure.
  • To project manage office moves, capital projects, refurbishment and re modeling works to ensure that they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes for reporting, and escalating, issues
  • To ensure a strong customer focus by establishing quality communication and feedback programs.
  • Prepare management information packs for supplier reviews, internal team updates, senior management and Executive meetings
  • Work with Health & Safety Manager to ensure best practice and compliance across all locations
  • Collaborate with the Store Development team to ensure visibility, and co-ordination, across activity programs to prevent any duplication of work, unnecessary cost or disruption to stores.

Experience

  • Contract /Supplier management experience.
  • Facilities & security management experience (BIFM/CSMP preferred) Project management experience.
  • Ability to review and implement processes and procedures
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to plan, monitor and work to deadlines under pressure
  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • Ability to build relationships and influence different stakeholders
  • Systems/PC knowledge required specifically Excel Word and Outlook
