Business Development Manager
To Identify and secure new business within healthcare and complimentary markets. Build and grow business relationships with new customers. Proactively identify and pursue financially viable new customers in line with the business strategy. Effectively complete and assist with tender opportunities. Provide product presentation and all support to gain new business.
Relationship building and nurturing of prospects to convert into new customers and managing the handover process to the Account Management Team
Conversion of prospects into customers by selling the commercial benefits.
To proactively build and grow profitable business relationships with new customers.
Provide detailed monthly reporting of the pipeline for presentation to the executive.
Become highly visible within the healthcare and complimentary sectors through attending relevant exhibitions, meetings, and events.
Experience of, and the ability to, secure new business in a “hunting” style role ideally from a catering and/or healthcare background
Excel - intermediate to advanced, Word – Intermediate to advanced and PowerPoint - Ability to produce and deliver excellent presentations.
A proven track record of building strong, profitable customer relationships and winning new business
A good understanding of the commercial world in the healthcare sector
Flexible approach to working hours and environment, as this is a largely field based role.
